Infrastructure Constuction of Developing China West Focus on Four

Chinese central government is undertaking the Strategy to Develpop
China West, the Infrastructure Constuction will focus on communication,
water conservancy, enrergy and telecommunication four key sectors.

the communication, the main state-highway construction will be
in full swing so as to channel the connections between the State-Highway
System and poverty counties.The Village-Road Projects will be
undertaken. The double-tracking railway from Baoji in Shaanxi
province to Lanzhou on Longhai railway will be speeded up,and
the several new main trackings from the east to the west have
been in the plan.It will perfect national network airports,expend
regional network airports and newly build a batch of branch airports. |

the water conservancy, some large and midium water conservancy
projects will be speeded up,such as Yanghuang Irregation Project
in Ningxia and Tibetan Manla Reservior.Some key water conservancy
projects will firmly be started operations,and anti-floods control
and civic water supply projects will also quicken their step.Enhance
previous work of water transfermation Projects and put water resourses
to rational use and development,protect and save water resourses.

the energy construction,It will firmly grasp the two projects,"Transport
Western Oil-Gas to the estern" and "Transmit elctricity from west
to east",and push forward the construction of gas tranporting
pipeline FromTarimu,Xinjiang to Shanghai.Enhance the construction
of transregional electrical network and the development of water
and electricity.Develop and push forward some new energies,such
as solar energy, windyenergy and geothermal energy. |

the telecommunication constructions, countinuously speed up the
construction of main teleline and branch teleline in China West
on the basis of optical fiber main tele-network, and increas the
comprehensive covering rate in China West of radio and T.V. Enhance
the construction of computer information net and postal network.
