Contents of Lanzhou Trade Fair |
| 1.
Introducing foreign funds: Taking more flexible ways and attitude
of dealing with concrete matters, the foreign investment projects
of 2000 Lanzhou Trade Fair are chosen with high technical starting
point、prospective market、close connection with provincially implementing
the strategy of greatly developing the west of China and holding
conspicuous status in industrial structure adjustment. 2001 Lanzhou
Trade Fair focuses on: 1. Projects of ecological agriculture、environmental
protection、infrastructure and further processing of resource;
2. Innovating projects of new and high technical industries and
technique; 3. Reducing export costs and increasing projects that
earn foreign exchange through exporting; 4. Projects with enterprise
technical innovation and capital reorganization. Meanwhile, 2001
Lanzhou Trade Fair vigorously strengthens the cooperation with
international transnational corporations, further increases domestic
opening-up and enlarges the scope of introducing foreign funds.
It further introduces domestic capitals by making full use of
good opportunities of China Central Government implementing the
strategy of developing the west of China, adjusting industrial
structure in eastern China and opening up the west market. It
is going to develop a lot of projects, which have prospective
market, comparative superiority and can promoting sustainable
development of local economy. It introduces investment focusing
on international transnational corporations, domestic co-operative
enterprises, joint ventures and foreign exclusive fund enterprises,

Projects show and commodity exhibition |
| a.The
exhibition work of 2001 Lanzhou Trade Fair embodies strategic
decision of the Central Government implementing the development
of western China. It bases itself on innovation and development,
adheres to both trade discussions and exchanges and exhibition,
and highlights the superior industries and economy with local
characteristics. It enlarges proportion of famous and excellent
enterprises taking part in the exhibition and holds economic and
trade discussions and information exchange. |

of exhibition center |
| a)
Indoor exhibition center: Projects and trade discussion is to
be held on the 5th -8th floors of Lanzhou International Fair Center.
The commodity exhibition hall is on the 5th-6th floors, in which
standard booths are put up, exhibiting commodities of nation-wide
enterprises with highlights of exhibiting famous、excellent、brand-new
and local daily consumer goods from both domestic and foreign
enterprises. The displaying and trade discussion halls are on
the 7th -8th floors, which gives priority to trade discussions
and exchange. |

Indoor exhibition area: Northwest Goods and Material Market (Add:
422 Xijin West Road of Qilihe District, Lanzhou) is mainly engaged
in exhibiting and showing automobiles、engineering machinery、packing
machinery and other large-shaped machine、 electrical equipment
and production means of famous and excellent enterprises of both
domestic and international. |

2001 Lanzhou Trade Fair is going to further strengthen the function

News releasing conference Before holding Lanzhou Trade Fair and
its opening ceremony, all delegations taking part in the Fair
can hold news releasing conference. The Trade Fair offers conference
rooms and assists to invite local press circles. |

Products recommendation and introduction and news releasing conference
The Trade Fair supplies the delegations that join the Fair with
publicizing enterprises、recommending and introducing products
and releasing news and arranging various special meeting places. |

3. Signing of contract The delegations that join the Fair organize
the project and trade contract signing activities by themselves.
The signing ceremony is arranged by the Trade Fair to be performed
together. |

Trade Fair offers the delegations that join the Fair with food
and accommodation、 transport、travel and other service. All expenses
are covered by the delegations themselves. |

The Trade Fair books the return flight and train tickets for the

Organizational Structure |
| 2001
Lanzhou Trade Fair sets up organizing committee composed of leaders
from sponsor units and cooperating units of the Trade Fair. The
organizing committee appoints 9 persons to secretaries and deputy
secretaries, who are in charge of preparatory work of the Trade
Fair and implement the decisions of the Organizing Committee.
The Office、Investment Department、Exhibition Department、Publicity
Department、 Liaison and Reception Department and other working
organs are set up as well. The functions division of the secretaries
