| HISTORICAL
EVOLUTION |
| Early
five thousand years ago, the ancestor of Chinese nation was already
dwelling here. There had been a series of changes in titles and
administrative jurisdiction before it was subordinated to the
City of Lanzhou in the early stage of new China. During the period
of 1950's and 1960's, it was separated from Lanzhou and subordinated
to other administrative regions in Gansu Province. In 1970, it
became a county of Lanzhou again. |
